Doug O. Perkins was born and raised in a city just north of Los Angeles called Kennewick, Washington. As a kid he spent every waking weekend at Crazy Mike's Video, eventually watching all the movies in the horror section. He went on to study Creative Writing and Broadcast Production at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications at Washington State University. In 2002 Doug packed up his 1989 Toyota Camry LE and moved to Los Angeles, where he had an internship at "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn." After that, he went on to write and direct four seasons of the hidden camera show Scare Tactics. Doug, that's me, I'm writing this, has written for shows on SyFy, TBS, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, Netflix and more. He also received The Corey Feldman Award of Excellence for Best Actor at the Edmonton Festival of Fear for his role as "Bob" in the horror film "Buzzard Hollow Beef."
