After graduating film school in 2013 with a dark sequel to the fairy tale of Red Riding Hood called ROOD, Dutch directing duo and genre enthusiasts Jasper ten Hoor and Ivan Hidayat started the production company Het Shot. Their goal: to make entertaining genre fiction like horror and science fiction with a comedic wink. In 2018 they developed the comedic horror short SANDWITCH, which became a festival and online hit. In the years that followed Ivan and Jasper wrote and directed several successful shorts, such as the suspenseful PASPOCALYPSE and the Dutch-Indonesian horror comedy POCONGDORIE. They also worked closely with director Ruwan Heggelman on his award-winning horror short GNOMES. In 2025 they made their first theatrical feature film - and The Netherland’s first ever Halloween movie - called HALLOWIEBE.
