Adriana Vecchioli is a French-Italian filmmaker crafting visceral stories of transformation, quiet rage, and revolt – twisting genre conventions with dark humor. Her films center enigmatic women tiptoeing the line between desire and danger. Her work has been recognized by TIFF, SXSW, HollyShorts, among others. With a background in emerging technologies and immersive storytelling, she has designed XR experiences for Warner Bros., Disney, the NBA, and Snapchat. She is a Voting Member of the Television Academy. Her latest short, MERMAIDS, is her most personal project yet. Slated for the 2026 festival circuit, it serves as a proof of concept for the upcoming feature.
