Synopsis
At the start of the corona pandemic unemployed Jacob moves in with his elderly mother and falls under the spell of an internet conspiracy theorist. As his sister Magda looks on helplessly, Jacob becomes convinced that COVID-19 the beginning of the Apocalyps. A great sacrifice has to be made.

debut as writer/director with the short film BOOK. 2012 saw the premiere of Chris’s first featurelength
screenplay S SKIND, directed by Rudolf van den Berg. FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY – an
English-language feature directed by Richard Raaphorst and written by Chris - premiered at the
IFFR 2013 and was subsequently presented at the TriBeCa Film Festival. In 2014 his featurelength
debut as writer/director was released to critical acclaim: THE POOL won a Golden Calf at
the Netherlands Film Festival for Best Sound Design. Chris also wrote the script for Nick
Jongerius’s THE WINDMILL MASSACRE (2016).
